What is it?
The Robinson Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (RCPAAA) is an independent, non-profit corporation composed of graduates of the Robinson Citizen Police Academy only. The RCPAAA is funded solely by member dues, fundraising activities, and corporate donations and receives no funding from the Robinson Police Department.
What is the RCPAAA's purpose?
The purpose of the RCPAAA is to assure and implement community awareness of the Robinson Police Department, to assist in fostering better community relationships among citizens and the members of the Robinson Police Department, and to provide volunteer support to law enforcement activities which directly effect the community. It is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes under IRS code. It is not a fund raising organization for the Police Department.
What does the RCPAAA do?
The RCPAAA provides educational activities for it's members, provides volunteer support to the Robinson Police Department. It interfaces with the community, generally through social activities and by providing briefings to community organizations as requested, and it hosts or supports special activities such as outside speakers, departmental speakers, etc.
What are RCPAAA's educational activities?
Educational activities through the RCPAAA are aimed at making members better informed citizens, and to allow them to interface more knowledgeable with other citizens in the community. Guest Speakers and/or hands-on demonstrations are featured during general meetings which are held once a month. Some topics and speakers may include:

Scams and Frauds
Robinson Police Association
Field Training for Officer and Dispatchers
